"he better be"

This is actually a very interesting quote that got me thinking. I sympathize for you on the religious seminaries but regardless, we need to think about this quote. People have become so emotionally invested in the idea of an afterlife that they take this one for granted. Its almost become that we think we DESERVE an afterlife for living this one. All of this is driven by our ego, which reminds me i should post a very interesting video on this blog for us to analyze.

There is no proof he does exist and no proof he doesnt = HE DOES NOT EXIST XD

I actually fully agree with you on this. Due to what is called "cosmic censorship", nobody really knows what life is about. All we can really do is go on what we know and can observe, therefore i am more of an Agnostic/Deist type person. Because when you really think about it, there might actually be a God, but not in the traditional personified sense.

Now obviously since this is a discussion of the spiritual "world", we need more than just the mainstream beliefs being presented. Here is a video that actually incorperates a discussion about hallucinogenic drugs.

So what is DMT? is it the key to afterlife? is it a random chemical? and if it is, why does it have the effect that it does? Why is it so important to the human body?

God is an entity that cannot be seen, felt or percieved in any way. Therefore by logic we should not have any way to be aware of his existence. Therefore we must conclude that he was invented by someone.

So if a being like "god" exist, we have no way to know anything about him, therefore it is useless to "believe" in him, and the god from the bible was created by men, and even if he existed, he is depicted as a total asshole and is not worthy of any kind of praise.

The God of the sand sounds more like the Devil. It's not love that is the main value of the 3 religions of the sand, it's death.

I agree with this idea. The other day i heard a very interesting comment "the burden of proof is on the one that made the positive statement". But the thing about this is that, what if someone like Abraham has seen a "god" but the idea and the story have been so subjected to the flaws of oral tradition that certain things have become so exaggerated that it no longer accurately depicts what happened. For all we know there could be a personal force out there. But yes, i see your point.

Prove if theres a god? You're fuckin stupid.

Jun. 5, 2009 | 4:35 PM zero-gravity responds:

I said you can prove either way, if you are unwilling to be logical and informative and give an honest effort of proving your point, you are no less than a troll.

If you had read my previous posts, I had said that I didn't want to post my accomplishments but that guy pissed me off enough that I had to show him up.

Also, fuck you, I'm a very likable person, if you were on stickam you would know that.

To the philisophical debate on the existence of God, I point out the fact that there's still no reason for the Big Bang, as far as anyone can prove. Most either try not to think about why it would happen, have some kind of religion, or subscribe to the ideas of Superstring Theory, which has a rather big debate for itself based on the fact that none of it can really be proven. We're really just blowing wind one way or another for things that cannot be proven before death, and at that point cannot be testified too for different reasons under either of the competing ideas.
